Poojya swamiji, In one of your lectures you mentioned that one is frustrated when he gets a response from others contrary to his expectations.So your advice was people are different, (vaividhyam) the way he thinks may not be the same as you think and a conflict is resulted. My teenage son wastes too much time on irrelevant matters which makes him sit almost throughout night for his studies. According to my belief a student should get a good amount of sleep. Otherwise lack of sleep will lead to so many mind and sleep related problems.On holidays he gets up at 12 0”clock in the noon.Altogether he doesn”t have a healthy food and sleep style.All these worries me.According to your advice I should not expect any change in his behaviour when I try to advise him on the above problems. What I am worried is this and lack of good habits will affect his peace in future.It is due to affection that I am advising him. Dear Nandini,
If he is obedient, then with love and care help him to come out of it. If he is not obedient create a positive atmosphere in the home so that he may be inspired by that. There are lot of people who changed with the association of good people. When you live a peaceful life he will have a respect for you. Once he has that respect, he will listen to you.
