Don’t you think exposing sharp and minute ‘thathvas’ of our scripts before the most unqualified audience sitting in a living room through TV is against the wishes of our rishis, who have always tried to be all inclusive by keeping the level to a bare minimum in all their public texts which is the basic reason for the existence of our culture and against the rule bhagavan says as , “paroksha vado rishaya paroksham cha mama priya” (ekadasha skandam) and “na budhibedam janayedachjanam karma sanginam” (Bhagavath gita:3:26)? Wouldn’t these inner meanings be naturally generated for the qualified by his curiosity and state of mind itself or it should be supplied only as a personal thing extremely carefully?

Dear Venugopalji,
Do you think a person (sitting in front of a TV with hundreds of channels and programmes) will watch a discourse on Bhagavatham without any curiosity?
In fact, many devotees start their day with these discourses and it helps them maintain a peaceful life.
Only if you have interest and curiosity along with an urge to uplift your mind, you will listen to such talks.
That is why ‘Shravanam’ is praised in Bhagavatham.
Then the devotee will evolve further.
Please understand, technology has to be used for such peace missions, then only we can make this planet worth living.
