Guruji, I keep doing pranayam, i keep convincing my mind that nothing negative will happen. All this is not at helping. My mind is praying for miseries to happen in life. I don’t know why. This is what is upsetting me. I am worried if God will give me miseries because I am praying for it. Why does this happen? I am feeling that I’m turning to be a pyscho. How can I come out of this ? I am doing everything you suggested. Is there a way to get out of this? I listened to your discourse about fear, i am trying to convince my mind. But not helping. Please help guruji ….Please answer. Thankyou so much

Dear Gowriji,
When you forcibly suppress some thing it will bounce back to you, like a ball does.
When you try to convince yourself that nothing wrong will happen, it is a forceful thinking exercise.
But as you know, thoughts are not created by you, they simply appear and disappear in your mind.
Your forcible creation of positive thoughts will not work, moreover it will lead to more negative thoughts.
Only a truly Spiritual person has the courage to say ‘Let Thy Will Be Done’. That is surrender to the Lord. When you are ready to accept both positive and negative as the Lord’s gift, you are transcending the effect of negative thoughts.
It is like going upper and upper in the sky much above the white and dark clouds. There only the space or the infinite presence surrounds you.
So, replace negative thoughts by the single thought that ‘God is always with me, He knows what is best for me. Why should I worry unnecessarily?’.
Do Pranayam and meditate regularly, you will see the amazing change in yourself very soon.
