i always heard that expectations are reasons for grief, and its true. But how can avoid our own expectations, for example when marry we expect a responsible spouse, but sometimes it go wrong, like wise when we do something help to a person we expect a word of thanks, but nothing will happen, that person will go as if nothing was done by our side, what to do in this situation

Dear Sandeepji,
Our Rishis never teach any thing negative, so they never told us not to expect.
But one should develop expectation on one’s own performance. If you practise meditation regularly, you can see transformation of expectation to acceptance and guidance.
Where there is acceptance and guidance there alone one can feel True Love.
Hariom!
