Respected Swamiji, I am a devout daily listener of your Prabhashanams. Your discourses have time and again stressed that God is a part and parcel of us. You have also driven home the point that praying for material things debases the prayer itself. You have also time and again stressed that getting up early in the morning and spending some time meditating strengthens one’s conviction in God. So when you pray say sitting in meditative position for half an hour what exactly should be your prayer other than dwelling on the all pervading nature of the Atman?

Dear Sarasaji,
Meditation is not a verbal or mental prayer.
It is prayerfully immersing yourself in the inner silence and feeling the presence of the Lord.
