Dear Ratheeshji,
When your mind is so confirmed about death, you can follow any rituals.
It doesn’t matter what ‘Homa’ you perform.
Understand, Homas may purify the atmosphere, but they are not a solution for the purpose you imagine.
When you think about death, have you ever thought, for whom you perform these rituals?
I mean, is it for the mind of the departed or for the body?
Krishna says body doesn’t need any rituals, then regarding the mind, it also doesn’t, because you can’t prove the birth of mind.
Then how can you say the mind is dead?
What I suggest is keep a photo of departed and offer your respect as if they guide us ever, like the deities we worship.
