Hari Om swamiji, I have had the opportunity of hearing through TV and in person the various discourses of different gurus.I derive a lot of peace and happiness attending these discourses.However one question keeps coming to my mind ie,is it mandatory to choose one guruand strictly follow his philosophyor accept all Gurus are a part of that one Guru tatwa.kindly explain.

Dear Sreeveni,
The first and most beloved Guru is our own mind. Second Guru is our own Self or Chaithanyam. Third Guru is the one who helps our mind to unite with the Chaithanyam. Whoever helps you for that, whether it is a holy text (Ramayanam, Bhagavatham, Gita etc.) or the words of Great Saints, you should consider them as your own Guru.
