Dear Swamiji, What is the importance of Ramayana maasam according to our scriptures and epics and why is it recommended to read Ramayanam daily during this month? Please advice. Also, the new feature of seeing the old questions and answers are excellent. This feature makes this section like a knowledge base where one can find any answer related to God, Life and how to live life. Thanks a lot for making this enhancement. The importance of Ramayana Masam is keeping the mind more positive, especially during adversities. Karkadaka masam is treated as a month of difficulties in the old times. To protect the mind from a negative fall, our ancestors discovered a positive mental tonic, ie Ramayanam.
