Namaste! Swamiji, when we attended a satsang where the vakta spoke about the romance of Gopis and Krishna. My teenage kids were disturbed with the ideas of mention of too much sexuality in Srimad Bhagavatam. They enquired as to whether these are the genuine portion of the original text before invasion or a distorted version of our invaders? When i tried to convince them saying that Lotd is beyond this bodily identification, they asked as to why then so much mention of HIS SPORT with Gopis? Kindly clarify the doubts so that they don’t drift away from this path.

Dear Nithikaji,
‘Rasaleela’ is a beautiful description of how Jeevathma is merged with Paramathma.
As each Gopi is dancing with her own Krishna, each mind is with its source or Consciousness.
Here, God is very personal to you and at the same time, universal too.
How can you feel intimate with some thing universal and not yours alone?
So, Krishna is your deepest personal experience.
And how can God belong to you alone? That will question His omnipresence.
So, Krishna is equally available to all Gopis.
This reveals such a deep Truth. It is not a physical relation.
Explain this to your children.
