Ganapathy is the leader of all ‘Ganas’ of Devathas.
Devas are Vayu, Agni, Brahma(mind) and Pathi means Paramathma without whom all these Devas can not exist in the body.
Subramanya or ‘Arumukha’ represents ‘Shad Darsana’. The sixth eye of wisdom is opened where six represents Knowledge of the Self.
