Pranam Swamiji, Please clear that Bheeshma was the most courageous man, even on his death bed he could transcend his body pain and surrender to the Lord. A young and physically healthy Yudhishtira sought solace from this dying man! Such was his devotion. so he know that after death he will reach God. then why he waited up to Uttarayan. ‘Utharayanam’ implies the journey of mind in the positive direction.
Bheeshma left his body in such a serene mental state.
We all should follow him.
