In Biology class we have learned about the formation of the earth, evolution and the progression of small organisms into human beings. Does Hinduism or Hindu scriptures agree with the modern scientific concepts of evolution and the formation of the earth? Thank You!

Modern Science had considered only matter, they never considered mind which is the creator.
So, Indian Philosophy could penetrate much deeper into the mysteries of nature.
