Swamiji, My Pranam to you I have the following question. Does animal particularly cows have some sort of intelligent and have emotion also. The domestic cows in our village (particularly in Kerala) used to be let out in the morning and the cowherd assemble all the cows and take them to the field or nearby hills for grazing. All the cows will be brought back before sunset. I have noticed that the each and every cow goes back to their respective house without any assistance of any once guidance. Similarly, it also develops a special attachment towards the family members and the house. I have noticed even if they are sold to any purchaser far away sometimes they come back to the previous house where they have been reared. I had also notice it becomes adamant to leave its original house in spite of pulling its rope forcefully. . What is the reason for its behavior ? Is it due to attachment or long association with the particular place it is unable to erase from its memory. Swamiji can we assume even the Cows also have attachments (emotional mind) towards its master like that of domestic pets. How can we correlate this human mind? Regards, N K Ramani
