Dear Kavitha,
‘Pralayam’ does not mean a flood of water. It is ‘Praharshena Layam’. ie anything coming from a source will go back to the source itself. It will exist till it merges or unites with the source. So that particular state is called Prakrutha pralayam. When it merges with the source it is called Brahma pralayam. So when your mind after attaining equanimity merges with the Chaithanyam you attain Brahma pralayam. Then your knowledge and experience will be nonperishable.
