While giving lectures swamiji stresses the futility of astrology, temple visits etc , I understand that it is in order to bring audience’s attention to learning the scriptures. Can this message be gven as – “along with temple visits and acharas , vicharam and scriptural learning is important”. I would like to get swamijis opinion in this.

I stress on the futility of ‘mere’ visiting a temple as it is not uplifting your mind.
We have to sit there for some time, chant Namam and meditate.
That alone can uplift our minds.
I have to use strong words to shake off the deep laid ignorance in our people.
