I heard, we need not want to do ‘PRITH KARMA’ each and every year if we done it once at Badrinath. Is it true Swamiji?

Dear Sivan,
All these rituals are not mentioned in the Scriptures. These are the propagations of some ritualistic and business minded people. If you can throw your parents from your mind with one karma then is this what they deserve from you? If you are sincerely caring for your parents, then on their rememberance days, sing bhajans and read Bhagavatham 11 th canto and give Annadanam to the participants.
Reading Bhagavatham will make Pithrus more happy.
