Dear Swamiji, Pranamam. I have fallen into the sensual trap. I am 22. I had developed a bad habit of watching undesirable things on the internet, in my early teens, and though I have mostly broken the habit, at times of laziness it recurs, and consequent self stimulation. Though over the past five years, I have given up eating non-veg, and tried to wake up before sunrise for chanting the mahamantra, but this perverse tendency is not entirely overcome and it recurs once in a couple of months. I would like to know whether the soul which is supposed to be unchangeable, which cannot be touched by the elements, whether it can be tortured by one’s sin ? What is the significance of the term ‘spiritual’ sin ? What should I do to completely stop this habit in the future? Please bless me so that I may move ahead and also to attain true Bhagavatha bhakti. Thank you, Hari om!

Dear Arun,
As a child learns to walk through falling, we have to move ahead in our Sadhana.
We have to free our mind from regret and guilt through meditation.
Never waste your time in judging and labeling yourself and others.
The concept of sin is the product of western religions.
They call man as a sinner.
But our Rishis remind us about our immense potentiality and how to transform our lives from human to divine.
So, meditate regularly, as you engage yourself in group activities, you will feel much better.
Spirituality means enjoying this inner journey.
My Blessings are always with you.
HariOm!
