Hari Om swamiji. My humble prams to you. I am not clear on the following: In Mahabharatam it is said that after Raja Parkshit was cursed by the sage that the King would be bitten by Dakshan snake, the king constructs a secured place with all remedial measures for getting cured from the bite. In Bhagavatham I often heard that Raja Parikshit after the curse, renounces the world and through the grace of Sage Sukha receives enlightenment. I am bit confused on these two interpretations.

Bhagavatham says that King Pareekshith listened to Bhagavatham from Sree Suka and got Mukthi.
