Hari om I am a pure vegetarian . One day when I was telling my colleage that vegetarian food is good and you should not kill and eat animals. She back answered me that vegetable is also a living being and you are killing and eating them ,then what is the difference between veg and non veg ..I didn’t have any explanation for this. Swamiji please help ..

There is life in both plants and animals, but the development of mind is different and hence the expression of pain and suffering too.
An injection and a surgery make a lot of difference.
So, for satisfying our hunger, let us give less pain to the eatables.
