Hariom!!! Swamiji This is Ashwati From kalina, sunder nagar. Well i have a small doubt.. recently one of my friend showed me the vedio of zakir Naik, who gives speeches of hinduism and islam religion. Well in that speech he mentioned that in Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7 verse 20 and in some vedas also like Yajurveda and Svetashvatara Upanishad its has mentioned that Idol worship is prohibited in hindu religion. And he guarantees that hindus are following something against their Holy Book that is Bhagavat Gita.. So what we are doing now, like worshiping the idol is it wrong? Please put light on my this doubt….

What that speaker says is absolutely wrong.
He is like interpreting our Scriptures like the narration of the blind person about an elephant.
To prove his religion is great, he degrades Hinduism.
Understand Hinduism is the only religion which talks the scientific truth and freedom in practice.
God is pure conscious energy which is beyond form but it is not out side (this is what other religions propagate, which is wrong, unscientific and absurd).
To connect our self with that Truth we need some forms, like we take the help of “land mark” to reach the destination.
Understand a religion which never permits freedom will never live long, intelligent people will discard it.
We are most lucky because we have absolute freedom in choosing the practice.
