Pranam Guruji, You have explained very lucidly ‘ How to connect to God”. While you have given the steps and explained through practice each one of us can connect to God. Now one more doubt or question for the Guru from the seeker in me. Is there any other way to connect to God. I am asking this because so many priests come and extort money in the name of being agents of God and by doing some Pujas and Homams they say you will get moksha, prosperity. Further they also create and exploit fear in you by stating that if you dont do the pooja and homams as instructed by them you and your family would perish. I know for sure that they first sow fear in you and then exploit you fear phobia of future castrophe in the family and cooly extort money from your pockets. This phenomena of extortion though very clear to the mind, but many ignorants in the family fall for this ruse and part with lakhs of rupees. In my family recently I saw such an event where in the priest walked away with over Rs. two laksh for Marriage related homas and some vedic chanting. He was greedy, avarice and when I did not part with further Rs one lakh as demanded by him, he ridiculed me in the midst of chanting mantras. He was vey casual , his members were playing with electric gadgets and was passing crude vulgar jokes in the midst of chanting . How can we reform the ignorant members who fall ruse to such methods of the priest.
