Dear Swamiji, I first want to thank you for the enlightenment you are spreading by your discourses. I have attended the session in BTM layout, Bangalore. I am 23 years old. I have been watching your programme in Asianet and also in the CDs. I have a few queries: 1. I want to start devoting some time to understand our scriptures. Where do I start? Srimad Bhagawatam or Bhagawat Gita? Can you suggest some nice books in Sanskrit and with explanations in English? 2. If God is omnipresent in the form of ‘Chithanyam’ in every being, what is the need to create so many forms of life(so many people, plants, animals etc). What is the purpose? 3. If everything in this world happens according to ‘Karma’, what is the role of HIM(God)? 4. Whether we would have re-birth or not is dependent of our ‘Karma’. Isn’t God the one who supervises all this processes of re-birth etc Thanking you once again for all the things I have learnt and will learn from you. And I am sure there are thousands of people

Dear Sriram,
1.Please try to read one sloka from Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavatam everyday. Bhagavad Gita gives you clarity of philosophy and Bhagavatam is the application of that philosophy. Both ultimately lead you to the Truth which is to be experienced.
2. It is not God who creates the various forms, it is the mind that is responsible for making us perceive such forms. For e.g., you see so many forms in your dreams. Do they really exist? Chaitanyam is only one; it is the mind that attributes the various forms. The indwelling Chaitanyam is one and the same in every living being.
3. Karmas are a mixture of attitude and action. Attitude is decided by the mind and action executed by the body. Mind and body are united by the Chaitanyam. In the presence of God or Chaitanyam, the mind decides and the body executes. God is just like a Karmasakshi, witnessing everything and energizing everything like the sun in the sky.
4. Rebirth means a continuous journey of the mind through different bodies. If you look at it deeply, we are taking birth every moment, every day. The body is constantly changing; so is the culture, character, behaviour and other aspects. If you direct your thoughts towards the Chaitanyam, attitude and action are transformed. That approach is what we call a spiritual approach.
