Respected Swamiji, I have a question regarding the famous line in the Bhagawad Gita “Yaada yaada hi dharmasya …”. My personal interpretation (please correct me if I am wrong) is that while this line explicitly says that God will appear to eradicate injustice and adharma whenever injustice and adharma take the upper hand in this world, it actually is an appeal to the inner God in oneself to actually wake up and fight injustice and adharma whenever and wherever it appears. My question is how should a person react to injustice and adharma perpetrated by his very close family members. Should he simply bear that injustice accepting it as a will of God or should he stand up and try to remove that adharmic behaviour of his family members even if that means showing disrespect to one’s elders? Dear Kishore,
Dharma and Adharma are two sides of the same coin. You can not perfectly define what is Dharma orm Adharma.
Sometimes Dharma itself becomes Adharma; when we wash our body, though it seems to be Dharma that act causes so many lives (germs) to be destroyed.
So our great masters say that our highest Dharma is to discover the source of our mind and redirect our mind to that and finally get dissolved into that.
