Hari Om! Swamiji. U r doin a great social work of counselling thru sacred texts like Bhagavatham. I’ve been listening to ur programs for last 5-6 months through internet n other mediums. Yesterday morning my mother passed away. She was infected with brain tumor. I have seen her suffering for last 2 yrs. Last 2 months were similar to hell for her. I could not be with her at the time of death. But I consider all this as GOD’S prasadam because this incidence has helped us to learn a lot about life by bringing me close to bhagavatham. Thanks for ur service once again as It has helped me to keep my mind balanced.

Swamiji, four years back one of my family friend lost their son in an accident,they carry their son’s photo with them everywhere ,talk about him everyday,go to his grave and talk to him, I have seen that they are living with his memories,they always surround themselves with his friends b’coz they feel he is there. Is it true when people say that when a person dies they feel his/her presence or see them.It is hard to tell them that there is nothing like that because they will get angry.What is true, swamiji?

Dear Reshmi, Living in hallucinations and imaginations may give peace of mind temporarily. But it will not last for long. True strength comes only from acceptance of reality as a Prasad from the Lord! But, do not try to convince people who are not receptive! HariOm!

In your Bhagavad Geetha discourses, you say that we must do our duties because they are God’s opportunities but we must not get attached to those duties. How can we do that?
