Dear Lakshmi, AUM represents the expansion of the universe and the spiritual energy (Chaithanyam) behind that. AUM represents Srishti, Sthithi and Layam – creation, maintenance and destruction. It is the expansion of the universal mind into different forms. The mind can expand only when the spiritual energy throbs.

Swamiji, this is just to express my appreciation for your answers, especially about the way you replied to queries about misunderstanding of spiritual knowledge, our attitudes, Let eyes see the difference but the mind unites when looking at the Godliness in every one etc. When we hear about the crimes and atrocities committed and other forms of meanness in our society, I feel very disturbed about our helplessness. hare krishna swamiji, i am practising japa,pranayam,bhagavatha parayanam,narayaneeyam for the last few years.But sometimes Ithink I am not a true devotee of krishna.As a grihasthi sometime I don”t get enough time todo my pujas.How can I constantly practice my pujas without any interruption even in the middle of duties I have to do as a grihastha.
