ANSWERS

My humble pranams Swamiji, during the recent book fair in Chennai , i found Iskon group having a stall in the fair and I bought few books in which one was bhagawatham in story form. There are stories of bhagawatham of 12 cantos . Will it be helpful to gain knowledge about the whole of bhagawatham swamiji? Without reading the slokas of bhagawatham, reading the same in the form of stories will be more easy to understand the essence of the book I thought, so I bought it swamiji. Pls let me know . It is a good way to get introduced to Bhagavatham. But don’t be stuck at the level of the stories. Each story in Bhagavatham is said, to highlight a tatwam. Read the story and learn the tawtam. Hari Om.

സ്വാമിജി,1) വൈദിക ശാസ്ത്രതിൽ പറയുന്ന ഒന്നാണല്ലോ കാര്യ കാരണ ബന്ധം (കാര്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ കാരണം കൂടിയേ തീരു ) ഓരോ കാര്യത്തിന് പിന്നിലും കാരണം തേടി അങ്ങനെ ഈ സർവ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിനും ഒരു കാരണം എന്നപോലെ. എന്നാൽ ആധുനിക ശാസ്ത്രം ഈ കാര്യ കാരണ ബന്ധം അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നു ഒരു പരിധി വരെ കാരണം മൈക്രോ സ്കോപിക് തലത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തുമ്പോൾ കാര്യ കാരണ ബന്ധം തിരിഞ്ഞു മറിയുകയാണ് (കാരണം കാര്യം ആയും അതുപോലെ തിരിച്ചും ) ആ സ്ഥിതിക്ക് ഗോഡ് എന്നത് ഏക കാരണം ആണ് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് എത്ര കണ്ടു സത്യം ആണ്. 2)അതുപോലെ സയൻസ് പറയുന്ന മറ്റൊന്നാണ് ചിന്തകൾ മസ്തിഷ്‌കം പ്രൊഡ്യൂസ് ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് എന്നു കാരണം മാനസിക രോഗം ഉള്ള ഒരാളെ നമ്മൾ മരുന്ന് നൽകി ചികില്സിക്കുന്നത് അവരുടെ ബ്രെയിനെ അല്ലേ, മാത്രമല്ല ഹോർമോൺ വ്യതിയാനം ഉണ്ടാവുമ്പോൾ നമുക്ക് പലതരം ചിന്തകൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ ഉദാ :കൗമാര പ്രായം എന്നാൽ അങ്ങ് പറയാറുണ്ട് ചിന്തകൾ ബ്രെയിൻ നിര്മിക്കുന്നതാണെങ്കിൽ മരിച്ച ശരീരത്തിൽ ചിന്തകൾ ഉണരാത്തത് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ആണെന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഭൗതിക വാദികൾ പറയുന്നത് പോലെ ബ്രെയിൻ പ്രവർത്തനം നശിച്ചപ്പോൾ ചിന്തയും ഇല്ലാതായി എന്നും സ്വീകരിക്കാമല്ലോ. മറ്റെന്തു തെളിവ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് നമുക്ക് പറയാൻ കഴിയും അതു അങ്ങനെ അല്ല എന്ന്. സ്വാമിജി പലേ സംശയങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട് ഞാൻ ഇനിയും ചോദിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു എല്ലാം ദുരീകരിച്ച തന്ന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണേ പ്രണാമങ്ങളോടെ

Namaskaram Swamiji, I have been reading many questions and the answers you give in this site. Pls do not mistake me swamijj, as you answer to many parents to be kind soft and respect or enjoy with their children give them their freedom or space etc.what ever it may be, its very easy from your side to say it off or advise but practically very difficult as am too having such adolescent son who is stubborn and does only what he likes. We have to satisfy all his wishes if not he does hunger strike, doesn’t take food for days together, he buys biscuits coke etc. He is behaving so indifferently so restless and we doubt if he’s into smoking. He wanted a bike we bought and gave twice we put him in gym near by but he hardly went, because of his compulsion only we put him even though he hasn’t gone much and wasted that money and now the hunger strike is that we are not allowing him to join another gym which is quite far away from our house. He says that his friend has joined there so he wanted to give him company. Don’t know what is his motive. He’s always on the phone, never trims his hair, clumsy boy. Really we wonder how could he grow in such a decent family with such indecent behaviour and silly stubbornness which is spoiling his health and creating mental agony for us. Hari om

I am very poor in understanding people. I believe people if they talk to me with polishing words. I cannot recognize their approach towards me is good or bad. Pranam Swamiji, yesterday I went to a Subrahmanya temple and there are so many devotees who have been in ‘vritham’ for ‘vel kuthu’. At the time of ‘dheeparathana’ some of them behaved unnaturally (like ‘thullal’). Is there any scientific explanation behind this? Swamiji, do you think ‘vel kuthu’ is necessary for blessings from God? Or is there any benefit of doing that instead of understanding the ‘Supreme power’? I totally disagree with that custom.
