Pranam swamiji, One week before me and my mother fell from scooter because a small child suddenly ran infront of the scooter. My mother was in ICU for three days having head injury with two stitches and she asked for discharge from the hospital.Me having left leg pain and getting better day by day. I am going through my internship as part of MBA pursuing from Amrita School of Business,Amritapuri. Swamiji now I am not able to recover from the guiltiness that because of me Amma got injured.Now I am not able to manage myself or not able to do any thing with enthusiasm. Mind is a collection of thoughts of various qualities. It is bound to three Gunas (Sat-Rajas-Thamas). Athma or soul is the awareness in which the world of thought exist (Bodham). Hari Om.

Pranam Swamiji. In your speeches and books, you often mention about intellect as related to Education-skills and intelligence as related to vivekam. However I find this wrong, because it is the other way. Intelligence is what we gain from external agencies, schools etc. Could you please clarify this.

Intelligence is something inherent to you. Every being in the Universe including animals have intelligence that helps them survive. However, intellect is something that can be shaped or sharpened by training. One is Budhi, other is vivekam. Hari Om.

Hari Om Swamiji. I had a good friend during my degree time.But when we went for higher study she choose another subject. I noticed that she is having a gap with me. That time I got an oppertunity to do research and my sir told that there is one more vacancy so that I can call any of my friends if they need. Naturally I called her and she came with out any problem. Then without asking, she told her problem which had nothing to do with me and was strictly personal. Later I noticed that she is now keeping a gap with those friends who were her thick friends during that higher study…She told a lot many negative things about that friends to me..Later I came to know that she had given a totally negative picture of mine to that friends during their study as now what she is telling about them to me..I felt so sad and decided to ask her. That day she hurt me to the core and told that she always keep friends outside a circle that she drew around her. If I felt that she is my best friend then it was my mistake and same happend to them also..but later she apologized.Eventhough it hurt me a lot I was ready to forget it when she apologized beacuse all others left her for what she did to them. In between I helped her to get a part time tution job in the institution where I am also teaching. Now I dont call her like before but we meet at tution class often. But whenever I saw her she ask questions on spirituality as she knows I am trying to understand it .Till today none of my answers satisfied her which now I feel not at all necessary..So now for every question I will answer that you should search it yourself as I am only a beginner…Now I am feeling that her questioning is not for getting an answer but to degrade me…She dont know anything about our Purana..Still when I talk to her about something else, she will tell that In Gita I think it is written like this, that etc…she is trying to prove that she knows more that me…ok i am ready to accept it. But it will increase her advice which I cant tolerate anymore. I can’t harshly talk to her. Because I dont want to make this relation worse; as now we are working in the same institution…but her advicing is like that she knows everything well and I should follow. She reads personality development books and try to live like that. Reads novels based on puranas like Randamoozham(not real puranas) and books like that and try to get a picture from that..but I am not like that…She try to implement her thoughts in mine. Her comparison and advices are killing me..But I am happy with that as I am getting peace. Once i told this to her also. Now if i tell it once again it will result in a fight. What to do Swamiji…
