Revered Swamiji, Namaskaram. Happiness and sorrow are the reaction of the mind to various situations in life. The situations in life is brought to the mind by sense organs. The mind sense organs are controlled by a Realised person. He is unaffected by the different situations in life and therefore he has no happiness or sorrow in life. It is said in scriptures and other spiritual books that after realisation one can enjoy unlimited happiness and there is no place for sorrow thereafter. To have this happiness one should meditate and realise the self. Where is the happiness for a realised person and in what way he is interested in happiness? It seems that all the effort one takes for self realisation is to enjoy happiness. Is it so? Swamiji may please elucidate on this point. Hari Om!

If one can manage all negativities with positive attitude they are the most blissful people. Every consciousness has this option. If your consciousness choose wrong you can’t think of true happiness.So the true happiness lies in the explanation of consciousness.

That is a temporary association just like sleep. Apart from that if the consciousness feels a bigger responsibility to uplift another mind it again wakes up to the world ( read the story of Swami vivekananda).

I had read that Narayana means “one who rests in water”? what is the significance of chanting that mantra? Does “hariOm” and “Narayana” invoke same kind of vibrations?

You have to understand more on Narayana. Until you get an answer ” who is your consciousness” . The vibration invoked by the Mantra is determined by your commitment in chanting.

There is no logic, it is a practice based on belief. Where there is logic they don’t look into horoscope. Moreover, mental unity is the biggest match.

swamiji, our relative boy married agirl same day they realized she is not having proper iq . the reason is immeterial reality is the main after 2-3 months doctors confirmed and there is no medicine . she is loving and not ready to go to their house. we are also very sad to throw this child like girl. but as a wife how to keep/? what is the correct solution . we are totally upset? please help or give some strength for doing something . thanks

Take her to a yoga and counseling on a regular basis. Find our Ayurvedic treatment which may help her improve her IQ level.

Namaskaram, I am working in Chennai and my mother lives in Kerala. She loves me alot and consantly worries about me. She is suffering from high BP and diabetics. Doctors adivced her to undergo a surgery and they are working to reduce the sugar level before doing the surgery. I want her to live peacfully and joyfully, but her inherent nature is that she worries about even small things. She goes to temple regulary and prays for me. I have requested her to do some meditation and she is not intersted in it. I am trying to go to hometown as frequency I could. But still there is lot of limitation. What can I do for her from here in Chennai so that she can be happy. With Regards Hareendranath
