Swamiji, My mother in law is around 70 years old has been suffering mental depression followed by absentmindedness. She is totally lazy in household activities. Now she has undergone treatment by a Psychiatrist. Will she recover through Psychiatric treatment at this age? Or Is there any spiritual sadhana to work out for her happy life?

Swamiji thanks for all your wonderful answers but one thing I dont understand is in this kaliyug how can we say that 95 percent of the people are good, even when we become truly happy for sometime there are people around us who get jealous and unhappy themselves, sometimes i feel its easy to say that we must forgive jealous people, but can we be good and show forgiveness to those who are so negative to us, is that really even possible for a normal person. May be in villages there used to be good people who cared and shared but in cities in the rat race around us, all we see is selfishness and competition mostly. Is this all our fault and the way we look at things and react to it.

I often feel it as my inner voice but I do doubt…. is it? As there were many instance in life where something that is said by mind came excatly like it.
