Dear Anju, The Scriptures say that the Chaithanyam is the root of every thing. That is called the Paramathma. Ego or “I”ness which is manifested along with the mind called is Jeevathma. When your ego unites and merges with Paramathma then there the “Jeevathma Paramathma unity” takes place.
