Dear Bindu, The Pooja is as follows: Keep the Salagram in water taken in a copper vessel; change water every day. Light up a ghee lamp in front of it. It emanates positive energy!

swami ji, i have attended ur saptham in chennai i have 2 major doubts 4 which i need an answer 1. can ladies do pooja for salagram 2. what is the inportance of darpanam when our soul does not recognise our previous birth realations?

Dear Bindu, Yes, ladies can do Pooja. Tharpanam for the departed souls is done for the benefit of the living people, not for the dead ones! I have explained it many times in this site and my discourses.

Pujya Swamiji, Yesterday on MahaSivarathri day for the first time in my life i got a golden opportunity to spend whole night at Siva Temple, took fast and chanted Om Namah Shivaya throughout the night…. Till morning there was continuos abhishekams on the lingam and aarathi after that. It was a blissful sight. I felt very happy and after returning home i felt very sleepy. Though i tried to divert my mind i cud not due to my health problems and medicines. I fell asleep in the morning for hours. My relatives tell me it is dosham to sleep after having full night siva darshanam. Is it so Swamiji?

I have been married since 3 years( Love marriage).My husband lied about a lot of things before marriage. After few months of marriage I discovered that he has lot of credits.He is very irresponsible as a husband and father. I want to spend my life with him but cannot change his character. He is very self centered. Please advice me how to change him.

Swamiji, I am regular viewer of your Bhagavathamrutham discourse on Asianet. It inspired me a lot and cleared lot of my doubts. Thank you Swamiji, for providing such wonderful teachings that GOD is within us and not anywhere else and we have to practice or do the Sadhana to reach our mind directly to GOD. Swamiji, you have been telling that there are lots of methods to reach GOD through self-realization or enlightenment. Could you please give me at least one (short-cut) method to reach our mind straight to GOD without any distractions? HariOm!
