ANSWERS

Namaskaram… You said that there is no need of doing PITHRU KARMA, which is not mentioned in any epic / scriptures. In Ramayana, didn’t Lord Rama do the PITHRU KARMAM in Mandakini River (Bala Kaandam), when He was informed by brother Bharata about the sudden and sad demise of King Dasaratha? So, is Ramayana or Lord Sri Rama wrong?

Dear Mr.Kutty, Ramayan is considered to be a mythology, but Vedas and Upanishads are considered to be scientifically, experimented, explanations. Our scriptures focus on the experiences of the mind, rather than the journey of the mind from bodies to bodies.

I used to see your programmes in tv, I have a doubt , I have a problem in working place, I can not lie to customers, I can’t be cruel towards my subordinates, it makes my life misserable, I can not do things in what way I have to do. In work place I have to do what I really dont want to do. All kiind of work needs some kind of cheating people, where I fail to do. It keep me from progress. Is it okay to do what they want? and go with the flow? Every one says it is okay, because it is what business needs.

Pranam Swamiji I am a strong and sincere devotee of SRI LALITHA DEVI .One year back I started chanting SRI LALTHASAHASRANAMA strotram and now chanting morning and evening daily and I can realize HER love and care in each and every thing in my life.Once when I was chanting I felt heavyness in my hands like i was holding too heavy iron or stone and it lasted for nearly 10 min and sometimes i get very strong feeling to lie down HER lap and touch her.Please adwise me Swamiji.Is my feeling right or wrong .

pranam swami, In reply to my previous question, u had mentioned pandavas considered Kunthi equivalent to God. Does Kunthi have commited mistake by not accepting her son karna when he was born and also when she came to know him at later stage of her life? Does Kunthi posses the quality of GOD

Pranam swamiji, I am regular listener of swamiji’s morning Bhagavathamritam and also had an opportunity to be at Annanagar Ayyappan Temple for Ramayana Saptaham. My daughter aged 17 yrs. had a habit of chanting hanuman chalisa regularly at her own interest without referring book. Recently, one of the pujaris who performed puja at our house advised her not to chant Hanuman chalisa , as it would make her bachelor status for ever. This piece of comments made her confusion and stopped chanting at all. But she is now asking me why should he prevented me from chanting hanuman chalisa as it is devine chantings. Is there any restrictions from chanting this by young unmarried girl? Please advise me on this issue. Namaste.

Swamiji, Pranamam, I don’t know if this will sound to you as silly, but in to-days Prabhashanam too, you encouraged asking questions and getting answers, so I am writing this. In the previous prabhashanam, it was pointed that “Athmavu”is chaithanyam, and that is Bhagawan. Also, Jeevathmaavu and Paramaatmavu..that too I understand. But then Swami, how did the “Jeevan” or Prana came? When one is dead, the Jeevan is gone, is it correct? Yet, the chaithanyam which is in our body is not gone , but it is absorbed in the Athmaavu, which is manifested in this world, as chaithanyam. So where is the death ? is it only deterioration of the body? If the jeevan and Athmavu is one and the same when bhagawan enteres ones senses (indriyangal as devetha) one is alive, and when the chaithanyam is gone one is dead. So both life and death are bhagawan. Is it so? I am confused Swami..not for knowing which is which..but because I am unable to comprehend it fully. Swami, may I make a suggestion? The day
