Swamiji, with a sad mind I’m writing this.. I’m married for 9 years now..i know nobody is perfectly satisfied with their partners.. but my mind often gets fed up with my partner’s character. from the day I was married I could understand that he has only second priority for his wife and first preference was always given to his parents.. but I never took it into my heart because I considered him as a good human being who just didn’t leave his parent’s side soon after marriage.For small decision also he used to consult his father first and considered it more than my opinions. I avoided that because I never wanted to create a problem in the house or in his life because of me. I expected that all these would change one day and after having a family with kids he might be matured enough to take his own decisions. but to my surprise he is still in the same boat. recently to choose a better organization he disregarded my opinion saying that ‘why do interfere in these matters’.. and again went for his father’s advice. when he understood that I felt bad he did what I suggested. Swamiji.. In my house I had brought up seeing my parents taking decisions by discussing each other. I don’t know how to overcome today’s situation and adjust better. please advice.

Pranam Swamiji,In Ramayana, in the forest Laxmana (jeevatma) is walking in front, Sita (maya) is in between and Rama (paramatma) is walking behind. In order to reach Paramatma we have to overcome maya. So Laxmna Should walk behind and Rama should walk in front. But why it is in reverse? or we can interpret, behind every jeevatma there is a Paramatma but maya is creating a hindrance between!

Swamiji, while we chanting Vishnu Sahasranamam is it necessary to chant the Gayathri Manthram, Santhi Manthram etc. I had an occasion to hear a discourse in which he advised that on every days twice Gayathri Manthram to be chanted. After the prayer Santhimanthram like “”Poornamatha…”, “Thamasoma Jyothrgamaya….”, “Sahanavavathu sahanow bhunakthu…”, Bhadram Karnebhi…..” etc. to be chanted. I have read in the Bhaagavatham that while praying Lord Krishna Bhagavan we should not pray anything to other gods as it is not required. Further it is also understood that we should not pray anything to God. What we are deserving will be obtained at the appropriate time.. Kindly clarify in the matter for the guidance

Namaste Swamiji, This is just an message to convey my thanks for uplifting my life, as you said guilty and lost feelings always make me down and haunt me in my life, my childhood also not bright, i was shattered into pieces & mentally broken, because of this i am slowly addicted to many bad habits and things in my life, but after hearing most of your wonderful speeches it will change my life. i slowly release all the bad addictions and avoid desire, attachment, pride. now i am practicing detachment in attachment, read sreemad bhagavath githa, want to learn sreemad bhagavatham and four vedas. I am really happy about life now. I can accept most of hard situation in life as Bhavans pareeekshanam and take as Bhagavans prasad. I do meditatin every day. Till now i didn’t directly met swamiji. Swamiji pranamam, sometimes I have seen however much we try to change our thoughts to positive sometimes when we are at places where there are a lot of negative, judgemental and jealous people our mind pulls us towards negativity but my mind becomes more positive around well behaved genuine people.How do we accept negative people without any bitterness or grudge in our mind.When a girl for almost 25 yrs lives with her parents and her mother does everything for her and is very caring and protective and later when she she has to do everything on her own and take care of her husband and later even the baby,go to work and understand and accept the in-laws who will obviously not be like parents and make adjustments after marriage,how do we accept all that without thinking negative thoughts or thoughts of regret of why we got married.Sometimes I get very exhausted and frustrated and find it difficult to accept.I heard a sermon of Joel osteen where he says difficulties are tests in our life to take us to the next level of maturity and character development and God does not put any difficulty in our life without already giving us the inner strength to deal with it and we just need to realise it and tap into it.Is that really true but still so much change over a period of just 2 to 3 years becomes difficult to accept .
