Hari Om Swamiji, I regularly suffer from extreme rigidity of mind. I just cannot let a thought free. I feel i have to deal with it else something bad or disastrous might happen to me immediately. A sense of catastrophe surrounds me. I get stuck on to one thought because of which i lose awareness of the work at hand. I become very very stubborn till i deal with that thought successfully. This leads to great mental exhaustion. Scientific findings say that this is a disorder known as OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). I am fond of the Bhagavad gita and i follow your teachings regularly, In your Bhaja Govindam discourse you told to ‘drop the mind’ ( taapatraya unmoolanam) , but i am not able to adopt this technique since my mind does not co-operate at times. Kindly suggest what can be done to rise above this shortcomings

Hari Om Swamiji, I am software engineer born and brought up in Bangalore. I constantly feel a sense of loneliness in life. I am not sure why. I have been following your teachings and advise regarding how we can overcome weaknesses of the mind, but somehow i am not able to overcome this nagging feeling. Even if i do, it is only for a short while. I fear that i might be alone during difficult times and end wondering how i will face life in the future without my parents to guide and support me. Basically, I am quite insecure in life Swamiji and i request you to offer me some fruitful suggestions to overcome all of these drawbacks.

Pranam Swamiji, Hari Om! In life everyone is expected to do their duty or dharma. However there are individuals who do not do their duty properly or in some cases even do adharma. These individuals can be in a family, office, society or country. Due to these individuals inaction or wrong action other persons connected with such individuals suffer. My question to swamiji is 1) why some individuals do not do their duty or do adharma 2) Why do other persons connected with such individuals have to undergo suffering for seemingly no fault of theirs 3) what is the reason and solutions for the above issue?

I have been an ardent follower of Swamiji,&have met him in person when he visited Charlotte,NC,USA.Now I have this qstn. SreeKrishna is beleived to be Bhagavan(GOD). God(s) has complete control over everything. This is the qstn. How can a mere hunter was able to kill Lord Krishna? Otherwise how can a man kill GOD? I hav the same qstn about Jesus Christ too. I shall be grateful if Swamiji can give me an answer. I , tho am a christian,by my fmly history, I hail from a prominant Nair tharavaad in Palakkad,& hav a little bit of it is remaining in me. i am 64 years old and continuously enjoying your programmes and questions and answers since 5 years. Although i really i get mental peace when listening Sapthangam in TV and reading 1 or 2 slokasdaily with meaning in Bhagavatham & Bhagavad Gita, i have a mental disturbance of my daughter who is aged 30 years still not getting married although she is MCA and working in a Software Company. Most of the relatives are disturbing me by raising this subject. Most of the cases it happens that the boy’s party will ask for horoscope and when we provide, they say there is lot of Dosham in Jathakam. Some people ask for photo and there is no response from them although my daughter is good looking except not very slim. Many people are preferring slim girls and not bothered about the family back ground and talents. i am indeed perplexed in this. Could you kindly suggest any remedies for this Swamji? 2) While i am watching your BVTV Programme for some time either in the morning or Evening whenever i find time, i could not find Flower TV Channel in the Malayalm List of Bangalore Channels. Sure Swamiji, I will ask my friends also to write to you. Actually I had already told some of them about this opportunity of sharing our doubts with Swamiji. Bt it seems like they are busy. But I will tell them once more. Because Hindu religion seems to degrade by quality only because of the fact that they are not properly guided. If anyone criticize any rituals or some verses from Vedas or puranas, it seems that Hindus are also joining them and speak out of ignorance. Also if anyone ask them to do something, blindly we are following them. I am telling this from my own experience. As you told once, first we should be aware of what all these points out to. For that, this is a wonderful opportunity. May God help everyone to make use of this..Hari Om..
