I am really amused by your letter. Now, you have to practically apply what you learned so far, to remain dispassionate. Along with theory, practicals are needed for establishing what you studied. As for TV programmes, please watch DD4 on Sundays and BVTV.org everyday. HariOm!

When a problem or anything aginst the wishes happens, the mind linger on that continuously even after making efforts to withdraw from that. What is the easiest way for withdrawal from such disturbing stage of mind.

The awakened one has transcended the limits of mind which is always caught up between cravings and aversions. Resistance is not being in harmony with what life offers. The awakened one will always be in the present moment and accepting it totally in accordance with his intuitive call. HariOm!

Would you please help me swamiji understand God and my purpose in life,everything seemed to be fine in my life till i got married.I thought it would be good to listen to my family and so i opted for arranged marriage leaving the guy whom i loved.But after my marriage i am finding it really hard to cope,i feel like i am a victim and have no life of my own and no purpose of my own.My husband listens only to my in-laws specially my mother-in-law,i told him we can wait for sometime for a baby but he said we should have a baby soon because his mother wants it like that,now i have an almost one month old baby and i am finding it hard to cope with everything.So when i told him we should have one child and give it our best his mother says that two is a must and he is already telling me when to have the second child when i am struggling with the first.I have an aging mother as i was born very late to my parents and find it hard to cope with the baby all by myself.My mother-in-law is also quite superstitious though she is a good person and i find it hard to put up with all her superstitions but my husband blindly follows whatever she says,he thinks listening to his wife is an insult to his status.He is professionally qualified and earns really well which is why my family got me married to him and so he has no time to help me out with the baby.He feels like his family would be hurt if he doesnt listen to them and so he only listens to them and doesnt care what i feel so much so that he cares more for his two yr old nephew leaving our one month old son and tells me that he doesnt want his nephew to feel hurt but our son hasnt developed feelings yet.I feel so hopeless and trapped in life but i still sometimes feel the presence of God in my life.Please help me with my frustratins and guide me how to live my life and bring up my child.

Dear Swamiji, To represent minds jagrath, sushupthi swapna states and forth state thureeyam is not known to the mind and hence full prathakshinam is not allowed in Siva temple. Why minds these 4 states are not applicable in other temples. Pls advs.

Compared to temples in other states, in Kerala we have very scientific Kshetra rituals followed, even though ignorant people follow them incorrectly. HariOm!

In one answer you have stated Atma leaves the body on death and remains in subtle form till it gets another body. Now Atma is God present in all beings and God being all present, he is all over all the time, why is ATMA leaving when he is all present and cannot move. Clarify whether the Mind,intellect and Vasanas leave the body or Atma leaves the body.
