Pranamam Swamiji, Whats the significance of chanting namams 54 times/108 times. does that numbers have any importance? can u please explain it. I’ve noted that u have mentioned to chant AUM 21 times. Hari Om

Sir, I am a regular viewer of Swamiji’s discourse on Asianet. I am highly impressed with the clarity of concept of erudition as set out by the swamiji. I have two young children aged 3 years (a boy and a girl). I wish to set them firmly on a spiritual upbringing with clarity of the concepts from a young age. Kindly let me know how to go about this. Are their any books by swamiji specially for children. Is the bhagavatham available in printed format with swamijis explanations on the tattvas. Regards, SAJIT

We learn Bhagavatham from a maami who is our Guru.She used to tell that as we take “X” for an unknown and solve for it in Maths and lastly get rid of that when we get the value so are the deities and the Bhakthi for them .When the mind realises the ultimate truth ,there is no place for them until then they are necessary as that “X’.I liked that example swamiji and wanted to share that with you.

Dear Bhagavathyji, Good, she is absolutely clear. Only by clarity, one can practise spirituality without any doubt. Many others are biased and see God and themselves as different from each other. Hariom!

Respected Swamiji, I stay in mumbai with my husband and every vaccation I go to Kerala and stay with my parents. My husband is a good person, He never force me to stay at his house. So I think myself blessed by almighty that I didn’t have to stay with my Inlaws. But whenever my mother in law comes to mumbai or I spend few days at ernakulam with her ,she never leave the oppurtunity to abuse me, saying one or the other. I never hurt her or say any bad words against her, but she always try to hurt me by words. Her words really hurt me but only for that moment of time but then I enjoy it as a joke of life. Her problem is she has no mistakes to point out against me. Her problem might be that I do not praise her for each and everything she does or says like my other sis in laws., whom she loves very much. But I neither find any fault in her –instead I only mind my own business. May be that her problem. Whenever I’ll have time I’ll share with you that teasing jokes of my mother in law. You can present it as examples in your satsangs. Just pray swamiji that May my lord guruvayoorappan give me inner strength to bear all kind of adversities in life and bless me with strength to take such abuses as jokes in future too. hariom.
