On auspicious days like Sree Krishna Jayanthi, it is ideal to chant in one sitting in a Satsang group. Commonly, you can chant small portions. It is more important to have mental involvement, devotion and surrender! HariOm!

Early morning ( 4.30 am to 6 am) is the most ideal time; you should not be too hungry or filled. Take two hours gap after food. HariOm!
Mind is really the conscious energy that is beyond Time and Space. Astrology can talk about only which is limited by Time. Then how can such a finite Science talk about infinite mind and soul? HariOm!
