Dear Swami, I just attended your Sapthangam in Kovai and it was wonderful and thought provoking as usual. But after every such retreat and satsang, I find the world and people more crude and unable to trust, maybe I have become soft. Hence implementing the teachings like loving everyone etc seems very difficult. Does one have to try to implement the new vision or will it happen automatically after many such satsangs without any effort quite naturally, so that the unnatural strain or artificiality can be avoided? Dear Swamiji…Correct me, if i am wrong. Achieving nirvanam is a continuous process. One has to free oneself from all attachments (‘Bandhanangal’ in malayalam) of this world. Then, immerse in deep meditation. Then, through various stages one might reach ‘nirvanam’. 1. Have you achieved Nirvanam? 2. Could you advise how you achieved it? 3. Is it possible for a normal human being, leading a family life to achieve ‘nirvanam’? Thank you Swamiji.

Dear Swamiji, Pranams. I have been a regular visitor to your site and I must appreciate the efforts you take to answer each question personally inspite of your busy schedule. My question: a) In the Geeta, Lord Krishna said to Arjuna that nature has already killed Kauravas and Arjuna has just been a medium to unravel the pre determined event in lapse of time. One way of arguing further is that death of the Kauravas was predetermined bcoz they had resorted to Adharma in the past. But is not their acts of Adharma also a pre-determined event and they were just the medium? If things are always pre determined in the past, in the present and the future, how can single focussed positive mental energy help manifest favourable results (matter) for individuals when the event is already predetermined? Respected Swamiji, Thank you for clarifying the unimportance of Rahu Kalam and “pelas” in the recent episode. I ask those who follow Rahu Kalams why they do not observe it for eating and for going to toilet. Re: purity for prayers, Sri Rmana Maharshi often used to cite the example of Kannappan, the Siva devotee, who used his spit to do abhishekam to the Siva lingam and his left over meat as offering. Siva rewarded his sincere devotion but not of the brahmin who scurpulously followed the outer purity and ritualistic rules. Rspects. E Vishwa Nathan
