Namaskaram swamiji,first of all let me say thank u to u because i attended 108 days discourse at TDM hall.I am from a remote place and this is the first time i am hearing a spiritual discouse.I never read any puranam during my 28 yers of life.But now i hav an overall idea about all the Puranams.Thank u swamiji.One problem for me is my family members are strongly believe in rituals and Astrologers.They r telling that they have seen the Rituals.Something the astrologers telling r coming true also.Why is it?Now i want to continue the spirituality.So please advise me.Thank u again

Hari Om Swamiji, It was just by chance I happened to meet Indirachechi (a total stranger till then) from Trivandrum in November 2008. It was a turning point in my life. I started listening to your Narayaneeyam Telecast in Jaihind Channel. Since then I have been reading only spiritual books. I bought your Bhagavatham DVDs and listened to them, took down notes. Now I am watching Asia net telecast everyday and I have been able to inspire many of my friends and relatives to listen to the programme. Good day swamiji, this is concerning my little brother Adwaith who is 7 yrs old and studying in Primary 2. There are rumors going around about the 2012 apocalypse. An archeologist dug up an ancient Mayan calendar or so called the ”Long-count Calendar” This calendar made by the mayans a long time ago depicts the years of humanity which ends at a specific date which is Dec 21 2012. Most people believe(including my ”scaredy-cat” brother), that there will be a natural disaster which will eradicate mankind. What natural disaster which is going to happen is still uncertain, but many sites in the web say that there will be an astroid hit which creates a giant tsunami. Anyway, when my brother heard about this, he believed it immediately and started crying, saying that he is still a little boy and not grown up.He has not given me and my parents piece ever since. Is there a way which we can stop him from fearing the ”2012 Apocalypse”?

Dear Sridevi, There are thousands of meditation techniques. You may choose the one from your Guru or meditate on Guruvayoorappan; what is important is that you have to do it regularly with total surrender! Then only it will uplift your mind!
