Swamiji, I seek the blessings of Lord almighty through my daily meditations and prayers.I have been doing this for over two decades wit devotion and faith.Inspite of all my efforts I feel I have yet to experience the feeling of his grace and blessings.How long does it take to make this experience come true and is there more that I have to do in my methods of meditation and prayers.I am following your Bhagavatham Yagnam presently going on in EKM being telecast on Asianet.I must say that it is a blessing of LORD HIMSELF to hear this gifted discourse first thing in the morning which initself is a soul refresher. Dear Unnikrishnanji, Your obstacle is your mind, don”t blame the stars. Yes, ofcourse, the stars can show your present mental state; but it can not lift you. When you entertain the positive and divine thoughts you can see that the problems turn into challenges.

HariOm, Swamiji, Were animal sacrifice performed during “yagams” by Brahmanas in olden days? If so, how do we substantiate in this age? I am confused.

Dear Sivanji, The yajnas are conducted for unity in the society and prosperity for the individual. The present form of yajna should be jnanayajna and japayajna. So we need not worry about what happened in the past.

Pranam Swamiji, Thanks for the reply. But kindly clarify whether the purpose of a man”s life is only attaining spiritual consciousness. To make my point clear,for eg., we could understand the purpose of life of Gandhiji to be to lead a life which will guide others and work as a catalyst to provide freedom for India,after that purpose being attained he was killed next year.ie once the purpose was met, he left this world. Similarly is there a purpose of life to ordinary mortals like us? if yes, how to realise the same before it is too late?

Hariom Swamiji,Your discourse on Bhagavatham is excellent.I am from Guruvayoor, but now we have no house there.Iam into listening into bhagavatham right from my childhood. I am now 51.I have not heard such a excellent discourse which is simple and lucid.the other day you said when somebody expires he sheds his body and his atma is still live. very very true . But my query is we do shraddha for our parents.when the atma is alive why do shraddha.That jiva could have been somebody elses father or mother in his/her last life.so that jiva takes a new body every time.so we get attached to the body.I am confused. can you please explain. Hope you understood what I am trying to say.I am trying to practise whatever you are saying. Just yesterday my neighbour expired. Iwas in tears. But your words that the atma has shed the body and it”s still alive gave me strength.I am now staying in Thane.My humble pranams.

Swamiji,r u agaist vazhipadu in temples?I have seen u r criticising this vazhipadu.If no vazhipadu is necessary,then we don”t have any temples.Hindu”s having many Gods and finaly we will tell all are same & only 1 god exist.At the same time astrologer will say,like swamiji said;siva opened his 3rd eye,Ganapathi having angry to u etc.They stick to their points by telling,suppose u r hungry.we r giving food to your brother.Is it sufficient to eliminate your hungry?Some astrologers are predicting correctly.How this is happening?In Guruvayur temple.a group of famous astrologers r conducting “swarna prasnam”.Is it a foolish thing?I have seen in TV & in daily that mentioned about God”s tree.Here tribals r praying under a tree & this tree for them is like God.Once a Dr.cut this tree & he died immediately.Where ever this piece reached,thay r suffering a lot.Please give replay for the above questions
